Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting & Finance
The University of London International Programmes - BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance is one of the best accounting degrees in Malaysia. It is difficult to find an accounting degree in Malaysia which can match the prestige of the degree offered through the University of London International Programmes. The Accounting & Finance degree has strong accreditations from major organizations such as MQA, ICPAS, CPA(Australia) and ACCA, as well as MIA (by virtue’s of Crescendo’s MQA Accreditation of the A&F degree programme). The following describes the advantages of the A&F degree:
1. MQA Accreditation
Crescendo's Accounting & Finance (A&F) programme is MQA Accredited. Therefore, our graduates can enjoy the following benefits:
  1. The A&F degree is recognised by the Public Service Dept (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam or JPA in short). Therefore our graduates can work in government departments & agencies.

  2. Our A&F student is eligible to apply for PTPTN loan. [From 1 Jan 2010 onwards, only course with MQA Accreditation can be considered for PTPTN loan]

  3. By virtue of JPA recognition, the A&F degree is also recognised by the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA). Therefore, Crescendo's A&F graduate can become a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Malaysia after sitting & passing the MIA's Qualifying Exam.

2. ICPAS (Singapore) Accreditation
The A&F degree is also accredited by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) and it is one of the very few degrees which has received "full" accreditation-giving it the maximum exemption possible for the Professional Examination. Thus, the A&F graduate can become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Singapore if he sits & passes the ICPAS Professional Exam.

3. ACCA Accreditation
The A&F degree is also accredited by ACCA (UK) and its graduates can get a blanket exemption of 8 papers (i.e. F1-5 & F7-9).

4. CPA (Australia) Accreditation
The A&F degree is accredited by CPA (Australia). Graduates are exempted from the Foundation Level. They will just need to pass the 6 professional level 'segments'.

Crescendo's Accounting & Finance graduates are greatly in demand as you can find them working in international accounting firms, local accounting firms, and multinationals.
