Pre-University Qualifications

The A Level qualification awarded by University of Cambridge International Examinations is one of the most highly regarded and respected pre-university qualifications around the world. It is your passport to degree programmes in United Kingdom, Australia, United States, New Zealand and professional qualification such as ACCA. A Level students at Crescendo can continue with any of the following programmes: (1) ACCA, (2) Law degree, (3) Management degree, (4) Accounting & Finance degree, or (5) Double degree (E.g. in Law and ACCA). A Level qualification is also widely recognised by multinational companies in Singapore and Malaysia. Companies prefer A Level graduates because they are exposed to a wider use of the English language. We strongly believe that it is time that students in Johor are given the opportunity to study for the internationally recognised A Level.

Over the years, hundreds of Crescendo students have successfully completed the A Level programme and later enrolled at Crescendo's ACCA, Law, Management, and Accounting & Finance degree programmes. Some went overseas such as to Singapore, United Kingdom & Australia to pursue their first degrees.

Why Millions of Students Around the World Choose A Level
1. Flexiblility
A Level does not 'lock' you into a specialisation. It allows you the freedom to choose your specialisation later. E.g. SPM holders who are undecided on whether to pursue accountancy, law or management can take up A Level and decide on which specialisations to choose after the A Level exam.

2. International Recognition
A Level is recognised as the 'gold standard' around the world and is accepted by world-class universities such as University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of London, Harvard University, Yale University, Boston University, etc. A Level is very respectable compared with an 'internal' diploma or university foundation. Question papers are set by Cambridge and all students around the world sat for the same paper.

For Chua Yee Leng, A Level is her passport to becoming a lawyer. Using A Level, she has enrolled into Crescendo's University of London law degree programme which is MQA Accredited and obtained PTPTN loan for her law studies   For John, A Level is his passport to studying Law in UK at King's College, University of London.   Ong Swee Ting scored 3 A's & 1 B in her A Level. For her, A Level helped a lot to build her foundation for a challenging management degree from the prestigious University of London via Crescendo.

3. Fast Track 1-Year Programme
Crescendo has packaged A Level in such a way that it is the 'fast track' to an ACCA qualification, Bachelor of Laws (Hons)(LLB), BSc (Hons) Management and BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance. E.g. a Jan or Apr Intake student can start his ACCA in Jan the following year, or he can start his UOL degree programmes in Sept the folllowing year.

4. High Achievers Awards
A Level students who perform exceptionally well can receive the following awards from Cambridge International Examinations.

Their reading & writing skills will improve tremendously. At Crescendo, we also conduct FREE English classes which focus on grammar & writing skill.
For Vyin Tan, A Level has strengthened her English and prepared her well for the ACCA Programme.
