Like many, their motivations may not be to get into these top universities but they feel ‘safe’ doing A Level because it is recognized by many universities in Malaysia and overseas. They also feel happy because A Level gives them more choices of universities to choose from.
For the adventurous, A Level opens the door to FREE tertiary education in Germany & you can enroll in an (English-taught) engineering course which is mostly offered by University of Applied Sciences there. It costs about RM50k a year to cover flight tickets & cost of living in Germany. Click for more info: (1) A Level student getting offers & (2) Talk by DAAD on Studying in Germany.

Our past students have also received offers to study engineering, medicine, accountancy, etc from universities in Singapore, UK, Australia, Germany, UK & Australian Overseas university campus in Malaysia, etc.
Affordable Fee – We believe education shouldn’t be a burden to parents. Therefore, we make the fee affordable and yet we try our best to provide a campus environment with free car park, sports facilities (badminton hall, football field, running track, swimming pool, etc), and other facilities available to the students.
Scholarships for SPM / UEC students - Merit scholarships are given for every A's you get in SPM/UEC. An RM200 per 'A' for the first 5A's and RM500 for each subsequent A's. More scholarships will be given to students with 9A's or above.

Crescendo has gone through great lengths to assemble some of the finest A Level lecturing team in Johor to support your effort in achieving your extraordinary dreams. Below are some of the key subject lecturers who will be personally guiding you throughout your A Level studies.
Allan Tan Ee Ming, Physics Lecturer
Master of Business Administration, Heriot-Watt University
BSc. (Hons) Physics, University of Sussex
Dip. in Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Allan was a government-sponsored undergraduate for Physics in the UK and a trained teacher from UKM. He was a government teacher before joining the private educational institutes. In his more than 20 years of teaching, Allan is always serious in his work and ensures that students are punctual & pay attention in his class. To capture the students’ attention, Allan always asks them questions - and that has remained a distinguishing feature of Allan’s teaching style in the memory of many students. Apart from Physics, Allan also has a keen interest in management studies, and has studied for an MBA from a UK University. With his multi-discipline knowledge, many students find his life philosophy and life experience interesting and motivating.
Ng Siu Kun, Math Lecturer
Master of Business Administration, Charles Stuart University
BSc. in Computer Science (minor in Maths), Campbell University
Ms. Ng obtained her degree in Computer Science in the US. Back in Malaysia, she found her passion in teaching rather than programming. Ms Ng has been teaching Mathematics and Statistics since 1991 in various programmes. Many students remarked that she is a very dedicated lecturer and always allocate her personal time to tutor & counsel students. She has also created many support materials which are available online in the college learning management system for her students such as short video lecture by topics, answers to past year questions, etc. Her dedication has been rewarded with good results from her students in various programmes and some of them made her proud by winning world prizes. Ms Ng is known to be a very responsible & respectable lecturer among her peers. These personal qualities also resonate with her appointment as the principal of an international school many years ago.
Lavaniya Chelvan, Biology Lecturer
Master of Education, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
Bachelor of Bioinformatics (Hons), Universiti Selangor
Ms. Lavaniya found her calling as a teacher and that led her to getting a master’s degree in education. With her specialisation in Biology, she has been teaching Biology in international school and higher learning institution. “Great, clear explanation & patience” & “Willing to answer student’s questions by giving detailed explanations” best described how students appreciate her. She diligently creates exam-oriented notes which makes it easier for students to learn Biology & encourages students to practise more on Past Year Questions.
Daniel Kim Rui Qin, Chemistry Lecturer
Bachelor of Engineering (Chem) (Hons), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
Despite his youthful look, Daniel has proven himself to be a very knowledgeable lecturer and one who has a good mastery of A Level Chemistry. Although he started out in research at a university, he later ventured into teaching. His research experience is put to good use as he can be meticulous when teaching students how to do experiments. Daniel cares for his students and works hard in teaching and guiding them. Like Lavaniya, many of his past students find him approachable and have rated him highly as a Chemistry lecturer. Daniel is also an exam-oriented lecturer who uses past year exam questions in his teaching.

The A Level’s global reputation greatly improved my chances of getting into a good university. Being a former A Level science student, I found myself well ahead of my university course mates when it comes to subjects related to Natural Science. Even if I should switch to a Social Science major, A Level has prepared me well to cope with the rigorous academic demand.

The A Level programme made me more mature and practical in the way I solve problems. It also made me more methodical and resilient in overcoming life’s challenges. Studying far away from my hometown in Muar would have been hard if not for the strong social support and academic care given by this loving College community.
Irvin went on to study medicine (MBBS) at University Malaya.
